Defined Momentum Fabrics FabricHAF0636-01

Erosion Chalk reads as a pale chalk-ivory textile, with softly weathered vertical marks that shift between warm white and delicate beige. Its restrained tonal contrast gives the surface a light, quietly tactile appearance.

About this fabric

The 255gsm fabric has a chalk-ivory ground overlaid with narrow, broken vertical striations in pale warm beige. The irregular marks create a fine erosion effect rather than a bold motif, while the closely textured surface keeps the overall impression controlled. At 141cm usable width, the design has a 29.5cm vertical repeat and a 23.5cm horizontal repeat. The stated 134.5 threads per cm is consistent with the finely detailed woven appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use Erosion Chalk to keep a room light and softly layered: its chalk-ivory tone works especially well on relaxed seating, curtains or cushions alongside warm neutrals and pale timber.

Pair its chalk-ivory ground and pale beige striations with warm timber, natural stone and understated upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
