About this fabric

The design shows rounded, paisley-inspired outlines built from small blue-grey and powder-blue marks, with lighter looping details between each repeated square. Against the pale cream ground, the motif remains gentle rather than strongly contrasted, while the surface has a fine, subtly tactile appearance. This 265 gsm fabric has a usable width of 141 cm and a 44.5 cm vertical by 46.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat. With 35.6 threads per cm, it offers a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use the cool cream and powder-blue colourway on an occasional chair, relaxed headboard or full-length curtains, pairing it with chalky whites, pale blue-grey and natural timber. The measured repeat works particularly well where the pattern can be seen across a broad upholstered or hanging surface.

Use this cool, pale colourway to soften upholstered seating, curtains or cushions in relaxed neutral interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fayola Tranquility/Exhale/Celestial without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
