Florent Sail Cloth/Celestial/Clay brings a softly painterly floral across an ivory ground, with cool blue-grey leaves surrounding creamy blooms. Small clay and ochre flower centres add gentle warmth without disturbing the airy, pale colour balance.

About this fabric

The design combines open flowers, leafy sprays and smaller scattered blooms in a medium-scale repeat, with a 67cm vertical repeat and 141cm horizontal repeat. Its 265gsm weight and 141cm usable width make it a practical mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. Blue-grey foliage gives the colourway a cool, washed character, while the clay-toned centres create small points of earthy depth. The fabric is specified at 35.6 threads per centimetre and supplied in a standard 60m length.

How to use it

Use it on a relaxed armchair or occasional seat where the ivory ground can brighten the room, then echo the blue-grey leaves in plain cushions or painted joinery. For curtains or blinds, pair it with warm off-whites and restrained clay accents to bring out the floral centres.

A versatile mid-weight floral for relaxed upholstery, curtains and Roman blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
