Colour 4 Fabrics FabricHAF0488-01

Ertha Positano/Clover/Fig Leaf brings together translucent sage greens, blush-pink squares and warm cream in a softly painterly check. The layered colour gives the pattern a gentle, washed quality rather than a sharply graphic finish.

About this fabric

This mid-weight fabric has a softly textured surface, with overlapping green and cream checks crossed by deeper vertical and horizontal lines and occasional blush-pink blocks. Its 252 gsm weight and 138 cm usable width make it a versatile choice for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeats every 45 cm vertically and 45.5 cm horizontally, creating a clearly ordered check with a relaxed, hand-painted appearance. At 38 threads per cm, the close surface structure helps the pale sage and cream areas read with subtle tonal variation.

How to use it

Use the cool, leafy sage ground with natural timber, chalky walls and blush accents for a light, relaxed room scheme. On a chair, bench or softly gathered curtain, the cream and pink squares add warmth without overpowering the green tone.

Use this softly coloured check to bring a fresh, informal feel to seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
