About this fabric

This Harlequin fabric uses a large abstract repeat of broken, vertical strokes, with deep charcoal and black-earth accents set against pale cream, cool grey and muted pumice. The darker marks create depth, while the lighter ground keeps the colourway open rather than stark. It has a 141 cm usable width, with a 93.5 cm vertical repeat and 70.5 cm horizontal repeat. At 238 gsm and 252 threads per cm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with warm ivory, weathered timber and charcoal accents to echo its earthy contrast. On upholstery, let the 93.5 cm repeat create a strong graphic focal point; on curtains, its pale ground will retain a soft, light-catching presence.

Use the layered charcoal, grey and pumice brushwork to add graphic movement to upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
