About this fabric

The design places varied rectangular marks into alternating vertical and horizontal rows, giving the surface a lively, hand-drawn rhythm. Paprika, rust and orange create the dominant warmth, while nectar yellow adds small flashes of brightness and the grey and ivory fields provide contrast. At 286 gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight feel, and the visible close weave gives the blocks a lightly textured definition. Its 82.1 cm vertical repeat and 34.7 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when positioning the pattern across upholstery or curtains.

How to use it

Pair this warm paprika-led colourway with natural timber, aged brass and soft ivory upholstery, using the cool grey blocks to keep the overall scheme balanced. It would bring lively graphic definition to a reading chair, bench or relaxed full-length curtain.

Use the warm paprika and nectar blocks to add graphic colour to upholstery or full-length curtains, with ivory and grey to soften the scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
