About this fabric

This colourway sets deep navy and mid blue against chalky white, with pale blue-grey blocks softening the overall contrast. Narrow vertical bands carry repeated small rectangular motifs; their slightly feathered edges give the geometric layout an ikat-like visual character. The 82.1 cm vertical by 34.7 cm horizontal pattern repeat creates a clearly directional block rhythm. At 286 gsm and 139.8 cm usable width, the fabric has a substantial mid-weight presence, with the supplied specification also recording 39.3 threads per cm and a 60 m standard length.

How to use it

Use the navy and blue-grey tones to bring crisp definition to a pale room, on a tailored chair, headboard or full-height curtain. White surrounding surfaces will echo the light motif blocks and keep the pattern feeling fresh rather than heavy.

Use its cool navy, blue-grey and white rhythm to add graphic structure to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
