About this fabric

This woven fabric weighs 312gsm and has a 135cm usable width, giving it a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery. Its pattern repeats every 32cm vertically and 22cm horizontally, with the slender lines forming gently shifting, wave-like shapes across the cloth. In this Oyster colourway, the low-contrast grey lines sit softly against a warm off-white ground rather than creating a stark graphic effect. The supplied specification also records 27 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 30m.

How to use it

Use Formation Oyster on a tailored armchair, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its pale grey-oyster tone can bring subtle movement without darkening the room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a restrained contemporary scheme.

A quietly graphic oyster weave suited to tailored upholstery, curtains and relaxed modern schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
