About this fabric

The colourway combines a chalk-cream ground with delicate oatmeal-beige lines, creating a gently warm, low-contrast neutral. Close up, the weave forms a small irregular grid of horizontal bars and narrow vertical ribs rather than a bold printed motif. At 240 gsm and 138.3 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats at 23.4 cm vertically and 13.2 cm horizontally, while the 143 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface its closely worked appearance.

How to use it

Use Silt Chalk/Opal to soften a room with pale stone, putty or warm white upholstery, or let its chalk-and-beige tonal weave add quiet texture to full-length curtains. It works especially well where a plain cream would feel too flat but a stronger pattern would be distracting.
