About this fabric

This substantial textile is filled with irregular horizontal striations, interrupted by fine vertical crossings that create a richly worked, almost weathered surface. Lapis blue and charcoal provide the deepest tones, while cream openings and ochre-gold accents catch the light across the design. The pattern repeat measures 105cm vertically by 66.5cm horizontally, giving the expressive marks a generous scale on upholstery. At 515gsm with 172 threads per cm, it has the dense weight and tactile presence expected of an upholstery fabric, with a 132.5cm usable width.

How to use it

Pair the cool lapis and charcoal depth with warm timber, aged brass or ochre accessories, allowing the cream breaks in the pattern to soften the overall effect. Its large-scale horizontal movement is especially effective across a statement chair, headboard or sofa.
