Loam Rust

Defined Momentum Fabrics FabricHAF0640-02

Loam Rust combines a soft cream ground with a delicate, warm rust network of irregular pebble-like forms. The close pattern gives the swatch a lightly textured, quietly organic character rather than a strong graphic effect.

About this fabric

The colourway sets muted rust lines against a chalky cream background, creating gentle warmth without becoming saturated or heavy. Its fine, broken motif catches the light subtly and reads as an even all-over texture across the swatch. At 222 gsm, the fabric is a versatile mid-weight with a 135 cm usable width, suitable for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeat measures 32.5 cm vertically by 33.8 cm horizontally, while the stated 325 threads per cm supports its closely detailed appearance.

How to use it

Use Loam Rust on a compact chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its warm rust tracery can sit alongside oatmeal, stone and pale timber. The cream ground keeps the colourway light, while the fine pattern adds depth to otherwise plain surfaces.

Pair the warm rust tracery with natural linens, pale timber and softly aged neutrals for a calm, textural scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
