Wiggle Linen/Carnelian brings a playful, tightly drawn coral squiggle to a warm cream ground. In the swatch, the softened carnelian lines have a friendly, hand-drawn quality rather than a sharp geometric finish.

About this fabric

The woven surface is covered with small, interlocking meanders in a muted coral-red, while the cream background keeps the overall colourway light and warm. Carnelian reads as softened and earthy in this image, with less intensity than a bright orange or saturated red. At 450 gsm, the cloth has a substantial visual presence, supported by 27 threads per centimetre. It has a 129 cm useable width, a 35 m standard length and a compact pattern repeat of 15.5 cm vertically by 16 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use the warm coral tone to enliven an ivory sitting room, or repeat it in piping, cushions and painted woodwork while allowing the cream ground to soften the scheme.

Use this warm coral-and-cream weave on an occasional chair, footstool or statement cushion against natural timber and ivory upholstery.
