About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet weighs 416gsm and has a 125cm usable width, giving the cloth a substantial presence suited to upholstery. The stripe arrangement repeats every 66.5cm vertically and 64cm horizontally, with each diagonal band clearly defined across the surface. Emerald and turquoise provide the dominant cool colour, while mustard-amber and terracotta-brown introduce warmth; rose-pink adds a lighter, softer accent against the deep blue ground. The saturated palette and directional pattern give this colourway a confident, luxe character rather than a restrained or tonal appearance.

How to use it

Use the emerald and turquoise bands to anchor a jewel-toned room, then pick up the amber or rose accents in cushions, piping or painted furniture. On a chair or ottoman, the diagonal repeat makes the velvet a strong focal point against simple neutral upholstery and dark wood.

Use this richly coloured velvet on an accent chair, headboard or statement sofa, balancing its diagonal stripes with quieter plains.
