Ribbon Stripe Lapis pairs cool, saturated lapis-blue lines with a softly warm ivory ground. Its fine vertical ribbons gently undulate across the swatch, giving the stripe a more tactile, hand-drawn character than a rigid pinstripe.

About this fabric

This 309gsm fabric has a substantial mid-weight presence, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The close lapis-and-ivory striping creates a clean vertical direction, while slight irregularities in the lines add movement across the surface. A 3cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design finely spaced and easy to coordinate. At 138cm wide, it is supplied in a standard 35m length and has 47 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use the cool depth of the lapis blue to sharpen an ivory, pale grey or natural-toned room. Upholstered on a chair or used for full-height curtains, the vertical stripes will add height without overwhelming the space.

The cool lapis stripes bring crisp vertical rhythm to upholstery, curtains and blinds.
