About this fabric

The 416gsm velvet has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, with the pile giving the saturated blue, teal and violet bands a softly dimensional appearance. Diagonal stripes in lapis, aquamarine, pink, purple and ochre repeat across the cloth, creating a lively rhythm rather than a single dominant colour. The pattern repeat measures 66.5cm vertically and 64cm horizontally, while the 125cm usable width supports considered placement on furniture. With a 57.7 threads-per-centimetre construction and a standard 60m length, this is a densely made, statement-making upholstery velvet.

How to use it

Bring its cool lapis and aquamarine base into a contemporary reading chair, banquette or sofa, then temper the pink, purple and ochre stripes with warm timber, brushed metal or plain deep-blue textiles.
