About this fabric

This substantial 540gsm textile has a dense, horizontally textured weave that gives the vertical design a tactile, slightly broken edge. Deep blue columns anchor the colourway, while saturated magenta, ruby and carnelian tones create warm flashes through the cooler ground. The pattern measures 39cm vertically by 66cm horizontally, giving the irregular stripe arrangement a clear but not overly small-scale presence. With a 133cm usable width and 41 threads per centimetre, it is a weighty option for upholstered pieces and statement seating.

How to use it

Pair the cool lapis tones with charcoal, ink or pale grey, then draw out the ruby and carnelian accents through cushions or painted details. The energetic vertical rhythm works particularly well on a contemporary armchair, headboard or occasional upholstered panel.
