About this fabric

This substantial 540gsm textile is well suited to upholstery, with a richly built surface that gives the broken stripe visible depth. Saturated ruby and magenta strokes sit against peridot and emerald greens, while olive, ochre and pale aqua accents soften the contrast without muting the colourway. The design has a 39cm vertical repeat and 66cm horizontal repeat, allowing the irregular bands to read as a strong graphic rhythm across a chair or sofa. At 133cm usable width, it provides practical coverage while retaining the energetic, hand-painted character visible in the weave.

How to use it

Use this colourway as the statement upholstery on a contemporary armchair or compact sofa, pairing its cool emerald and peridot greens with warm wood and restrained neutral walls. Ruby accents can be echoed selectively in cushions or artwork rather than matched throughout the room.
