About this fabric
This Harlequin velvet uses a warm rust-terracotta colourway that reads deeper in the recessed areas of the pile, while the ivory lines remain crisp and graphic. The irregular strokes form repeated angular symbols across the cloth, with a 43 cm vertical repeat and 35.5 cm horizontal repeat. At 753 gsm and 141 cm wide, it is a substantial textile particularly suited to upholstery. The specification records 192 threads per centimetre, supporting the visibly dense, closely built appearance.
How to use it
Use Agate on an occasional chair, bench or sofa where its warm terracotta depth can anchor a room. Pair the ivory geometry with parchment, camel, chocolate brown or aged timber rather than competing with another strong pattern.
Use this weighty terracotta velvet on statement seating, balancing its ivory linear motif with warm neutrals and dark wood.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dolmens Velvet Agate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
