About this fabric

Chert Sapphire is a cool, saturated blue velvet with a dense arrangement of pale blue-grey flecks and short, wavering horizontal lines. Its close texture gives the surface a softly nubby, dimensional appearance, while lighter threads catch across the darker sapphire ground. At 495 gsm and 143 cm usable width, this is a substantial cloth suited to upholstery. The design repeats every 32.5 cm vertically and 36 cm horizontally; the supplied standard length is 30 m and the cloth has 75.5 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair this cool sapphire blue with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a crisp, contemporary scheme. On a sofa or statement chair, the small broken weave adds visual depth while keeping the saturated colour composed.
