Jane Churchill

Quartzite Red/Gold

Atmosphere VII FabricJ0089-02

Quartzite Red/Gold has a softly weathered look, with coral-red and golden beige tones blended into a clouded, mineral-inspired surface. The effect feels warm and luminous rather than bright, giving the design a quietly layered presence.

About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is composed of 64% cotton, 22% viscose and 14% polyester, with an approximate width of 128cm and a repeat of V 39cm / H 64cm. The swatch shows a mottled, abstract pattern in softened red, peach and gold-beige tones, with the lighter ground keeping the colourway airy. Its surface reads as textured and gently diffused, so the pattern feels more like a mineral wash than a sharp geometric. With no performance features noted and a BM fire code, it suits schemes that need visual richness with a relaxed hand.

How to use it

Pair this warm quartz-red ground with sand, putty and aged brass for a layered, inviting room. It also works well as a statement in upholstery or curtains where the soft metallic-gold undertone can catch the light.

Use this warm, mottled colourway to add a gentle glow without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Quartzite Red/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
