Loam Meadow

Defined Momentum Fabrics FabricHAF0640-03

Loam Meadow presents a pale stone-grey ground overlaid with a delicate, irregular cellular pattern. Its finely textured appearance gives the light colourway a softly mottled depth rather than a flat surface.

About this fabric

The small-scale motif resembles a network of uneven pebbles or fine organic cells, with muted grey lines gently breaking across the light ground. At 222 gsm and 325 threads per cm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 135 cm, while the pattern repeat measures 32.5 cm vertically and 33.8 cm horizontally. Cool, restrained and softly tonal, Loam Meadow catches the light through subtle variation rather than strong contrast.

How to use it

Use this pale stone-grey colourway on a relaxed armchair or full-length curtains where its fine cellular texture can sit quietly alongside chalk, oatmeal and soft grey finishes. Its low-contrast pattern also works well as a calm counterpoint to darker timber or gently coloured upholstery.

Use the cool pale stone-grey ground to bring subtle pattern and quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
