Crater Slate

Defined Momentum Wallcoverings WallpaperHAW0316-01

Crater Slate combines a cool, muted slate-grey ground with chalk-white linear geometry. Angular blocks, diagonal bands and upright bars create a structured pattern softened by visibly irregular, lightly mottled edges.

About this fabric

The slate-grey background has a mineral, gently weathered tone, while the chalk-white bands form intersecting blocks of diagonals, vertical stripes and broken horizontal lines. The softly uneven edges keep the geometry from looking mechanically precise and give the surface a tactile, hand-worked character. Supplied at a usable width of 68.6 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m, the design has an 89.9 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 0 cm horizontal repeat. Its restrained grey-and-white contrast makes the bold linear motif feel architectural without becoming overly bright.

How to use it

Use Crater Slate on a feature wall where its cool grey tone can sit alongside pale stone, concrete, blackened metal or crisp white furnishings. Its chalk-white geometry also works well behind streamlined seating and sculptural lighting.

Use this cool slate-and-chalk geometric wallpaper to bring graphic structure to a contemporary room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crater Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
