About this fabric

The design is built from uneven vertical bands rather than a conventional geometric motif, with fine mottling visible across the light ground and deeper charcoal lines creating gentle definition. In this colourway, the slate accents read cool and restrained, while the occasional beige-taupe marks prevent the overall effect from feeling stark. The wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width, a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the vertical flow to remain continuous across the wall. Supplied at a standard length of 10.05 m and a weight of 334 gsm, it has a substantial presence suited to a considered, tonal scheme.

How to use it

Pair the pale cement background with soft grey upholstery, limestone tones and brushed metal, then use the darker slate bands to anchor joinery or furniture. The muted taupe traces can be echoed through warm timber or natural woven accessories without disturbing its predominantly cool character.

Use the cool cement ground and charcoal slate striations to bring quiet movement to contemporary, tonal interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vitruvius Wide Width Cement/Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
