Zuni Slate

Defined Momentum Fabrics FabricHAF0648-02

Zuni Slate has a pale ivory-grey ground marked by closely packed, rounded forms that resemble overlapping pebbles or small cloud-like scallops. The raised surface catches the light gently, giving this restrained colourway more depth than a plain neutral.

About this fabric

This Harlequin textile weighs 220gsm and has a 144.4cm usable width, making its mid-weight construction suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The pattern repeats every 33cm vertically and 24.1cm horizontally, creating a continuous field of softly undulating motifs rather than a bold, directional statement. In this Slate colourway, cool grey shading sits beneath a light, creamy surface, while the textured threads create delicate shadowing between the rounded shapes. With 135 threads per centimetre, the closely made ground has a refined, tactile appearance.

How to use it

Pair Zuni Slate with chalky whites, pale timber and cool stone for a calm, layered scheme, or use it on a statement chair where its ivory-grey relief can be seen up close. Its low-contrast pattern also works well as a textural curtain or blind fabric alongside plain grey upholstery.

Use this softly textured ivory-grey ground to bring quiet pattern and tactile depth to contemporary upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
