About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 44% viscose, 30% cotton, 14% linen and 12% polyester, Medway Slate has a dry, textile-led handle that reads as smart rather than shiny. The herringbone-style effect is visible in the weave, with the pale grey threads lifting against the darker slate ground to create quiet movement across the surface. At approximately 142cm wide with a vertical repeat of 22cm and horizontal repeat of 18cm, it is a practical mid-weight fabric for schemes that need structure and pattern without heaviness. The cool grey palette keeps the design calm and architectural, while the mixed fibres add a slightly softened finish in the light. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Medway Slate on an upholstered armchair, bench or dining seats where the crisp grey will feel disciplined and modern. It also works well alongside chalky neutrals, black accents and weathered oak for a layered, understated room.
