Tay Aqua

Brett Weaves FabricF4644-04

Tay Aqua is a quietly textured weave in a muted aqua-green that reads cool and softened rather than bright. The small, horizontal striations give the surface a gentle slubbed movement across the cloth.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 55% viscose, 26% cotton and 19% polyester, and the 139cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects. The weave shows fine horizontal ridging and a low-contrast texture that catches the light with a subtle, matte-to-soft sheen. In this colourway, the aqua is tempered with grey and green notes, so it feels calm, slightly weathered and less vivid than a clear blue. The repeat is listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which supports its clean, textural look without an obvious pattern break.

How to use it

Use Tay Aqua on a tailored armchair, bench cushion or relaxed curtains where the muted green-blue tone can sit comfortably with oak, chalk white or deeper navy. Its softened aqua finish works especially well in rooms that need colour without visual noise.

A softly textured aqua that feels calm and easy to live with on seats or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
