Brooke Stripes FabricF4838-06

Romaine Stripe Forest Green presents a refined vertical stripe in soft forest green, pale cream and muted sage tones. The narrow, regular layout gives the fabric a tailored, quietly classic feel.

About this fabric

Woven in a 52% Linen, 42% Viscose, 6% Polyamide composition, this stripe has the dry, natural look of linen softened by a smoother, lightly lustrous finish. The repeat is V 0cm / H 8cm approx, so the design reads as a steady narrow stripe rather than a bold statement band. At 149cm approx wide, it is a useful cloth for both larger upholstery pieces and elegant window treatments. The forest green colouring sits at a muted, leafy depth, balanced by creamy ground stripes that keep the overall effect fresh rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want green to feel composed and traditional rather than bright; it works especially well on upholstered chairs, blinds, or curtains in rooms with oak, rattan or painted trim. The soft green and cream balance also sits comfortably with stone, putty and deep brown woods.

Pair with warm timber and plain linen to keep the narrow stripe crisp and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Romaine Stripe Forest Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
