Medway Silver

Brett Weaves FabricF4646-04

Medway Silver reads as a soft, pale silver-grey with a quiet woven texture and a crisp, lightly structured finish. The small geometric effect gives the surface subtle movement without breaking its calm tone.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric from the Brett Weaves collection has a refined small-scale woven pattern that sits neatly in a pale silver-grey palette. The 44% viscose, 30% cotton, 14% linen and 12% polyester composition gives it a balanced handle that suggests versatility rather than a heavy upholstery cloth or a sheer drapery fabric. With an approximate width of 142cm and a repeat of V 22cm / H 18cm, it is practical for patterned join-up while keeping the overall look understated. The weave catches the light in a gentle way, with the silvered ground reading cooler in shade and a little warmer where the texture lifts.

How to use it

Use Medway Silver to keep a room light and tailored, especially with oak, limestone, or brushed nickel finishes. Its muted silver tone is ideal for layered neutrals, giving upholstery or curtains a crisp, architectural feel.

A restrained woven neutral that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
