Habitat Charcoal/Linen

Habitat Charcoal/Linen presents a pale linen-coloured tropical landscape traced in charcoal, with palms, birds and layered foliage across the surface. Muted brown, olive and grey accents give the scene a softly weathered Vintage character.

About this fabric

The design shows palm trees, feathery leaves, birds and distant watery landscape details against a warm, lightly mottled linen ground. Charcoal is the dominant drawing colour, while subdued olive, taupe and brown notes add depth without making the scene feel saturated. With a 64cm vertical repeat and 69cm horizontal repeat, the large-scale arrangement needs thoughtful pattern placement on both furniture and windows. At 204gsm and 138cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-and-linen colourway on a relaxed occasional chair, Roman blind or full curtain, then echo its muted foliage tones with chalky walls, pale timber and understated olive textiles.

Pair the charcoal foliage with pale upholstery, natural timber and warm metal accents to complement the linen-coloured ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
