About this fabric

This fabric has a smooth, mid-weight handle and a gently decorative surface, with the motif reading as loose sprays made from clustered dot-like marks. The grey background is warmed by chalky pink, coral and soft ivory notes, while small olive accents stop the design feeling too sweet. Woven in 44% cotton, 41% polyester and 15% viscose, it has a practical fabric body that suits both curtains and upholstery projects. The repeat is approximately V 40cm by H 32cm, with a width of approximately 128cm, so the pattern has enough presence to work well on larger pieces.

How to use it

The muted grey-pink palette sits beautifully with limestone, pale oak and brushed brass, especially in rooms that need softness without going overtly feminine. It also layers well with plain linens and textured neutrals, letting the scattered print bring movement to seats or drapes.

Use with pale wood and soft metallics for a gentle, contemporary scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
