About this wallpaper

This 100% paper wallcovering pairs a warm taupe background with charcoal-grey drawings of flowering branches, perched birds and small robed figures. The low-contrast palette gives the scene a softened, aged quality rather than a stark black-and-white effect. Its approximately 46cm vertical and 68.5cm horizontal repeat allows the branches and vignette-like figures to recur across the wall with a balanced rhythm. Fine outlines and detailed foliage keep the overall impression intricate and formal.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-and-taupe colourway in a dining room, study or bedroom where its muted warmth can sit alongside aged timber, painted furniture and restrained textiles. The softly shaded ground is especially suited to rooms seeking pattern without a bright or highly saturated finish.

Use this softly contrasted chinoiserie wallpaper to bring historic character and gentle tonal depth to a room.
