About this wallpaper

This colourway is built on a pale old-blue ground, with taupe, beige and softly brown outlines defining flowering branches, birds and small seated figures. The low-contrast palette keeps the detailed chinoiserie scene gentle rather than theatrical, while the scattered motifs create movement across the wall. Made from 100% paper, it has an approximate vertical repeat of 46cm and horizontal repeat of 68.5cm. The restrained blue-grey tone works particularly well where a room needs pattern with a calm, faded quality.

How to use it

Use Old Blue across a bedroom, study or garden-facing sitting room, pairing its cool blue-grey ground with chalky whites, aged timber and warm taupe upholstery. Repeat the muted brown and beige detailing in lampshades, wood tones or plain linens rather than introducing a brighter accent.
