About this fabric

This 300 gsm textile is presented in a deep amber-orange shade, warmer and earthier than a clear bright orange. The close, softly napped surface appears subtly mottled, creating depth across the otherwise plain face and giving it a luxurious, tactile character. With a 144 cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstery projects where a continuous block of colour can show off the surface. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so there is no motif to align or interrupt the colour.

How to use it

Use Alvar Amber on a reading chair, sofa or footstool to introduce a concentrated glow against dark timber, cream walls or muted olive accents. Its earthy orange depth also works well with aged brass and warm neutral textiles.
