About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet has a close, even texture made up of minute horizontal and vertical marks, visible across the swatch as a restrained micro-check effect. The 450gsm weight gives it a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the 141cm usable width supports practical cutting for furniture projects. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats measure 1cm, matching the small-scale surface structure seen here. With 46 threads per centimetre, the taupe-grey ground reads dense and composed, with the darker grain becoming more noticeable as the light moves across it.

How to use it

Use Ore Granite on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or bench where its warm stone-taupe tone can sit between natural timber, brown leather and soft cream textiles. The finely textured surface adds interest without competing with larger-scale patterns or strongly coloured accessories.
