About this fabric

This substantial 536gsm fabric has a visibly dense weave, with fine vertical and horizontal slubs crossing into an uneven checked texture. Its burnt orange and terracotta colouring reads warm and earthy, while the lighter threads soften the intensity and catch across the surface. The design has a 35cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, creating a gently structured rhythm rather than a sharply defined motif. With a 138cm usable width, Patina Spice is well suited to upholstered seating and other tailored interior applications.

How to use it

Bring Patina Spice into a reading chair, bench or sofa where its deep terracotta tone can act as the room’s warm focal point. Balance the orange with limestone, putty, tobacco leather or dark timber, allowing the pale crosshatch threads to echo lighter accessories.

Use this warm, finely textured terracotta on statement upholstery, pairing it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and brushed metal.
