Zion Spice

Avalon FabricCCF0409-06

Zion Spice brings a warm rust-terracotta ground together with contrasting taupe zigzags in a densely textured woven surface. The repeated chevrons read as graphic and rhythmic, while the earthy colour keeps the overall effect grounded.

About this fabric

The woven face combines deep spice, rust and terracotta tones with taupe accents that define the compact zigzag pattern. At 519 gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 137 cm. Its pattern repeat is deliberately tight at 2.5 cm vertically and 3.4 cm horizontally, creating an even, closely spaced surface across larger pieces. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, Zion Spice offers a richly tactile option for upholstery schemes requiring warmth and structured pattern.

How to use it

Pair Zion Spice with aged timber, tobacco leather and warm neutral walls to draw out its earthy terracotta depth. On a sofa or statement chair, the taupe chevrons add definition without introducing a bright accent colour.

Use the warm rust ground and taupe chevrons to add graphic texture to sofas, occasional chairs or headboards.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zion Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
