Sotano Rust

Espectro Weaves FabricCCF0856-06

Sotano Rust pairs a warm cream ground with a tightly spaced rust motif, creating a finely textured surface with a softly graphic character. The close-up view shows subtle variation between the pale ground and earthy red-orange pattern.

About this fabric

The fabric has a dense, small-scale geometric weave: rust-coloured flecks form repeated rounded diamond or petal-like marks across the cream background. Its warm rust tone is muted rather than bright, giving the colourway depth while keeping the overall impression light. Supplied at 596 gsm with 50 threads per cm, it has the substantial, closely woven presence expected of an upholstery fabric. The pattern repeat is just 1 cm vertically and horizontally, while the usable width is 137 cm.

How to use it

Use Sotano Rust on a tailored armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its warm rust detailing can add pattern without overwhelming the room. Pair it with warm woods, aged brass and natural cream textiles to draw out the woven contrast.

Use this densely patterned rust-and-cream weave to bring warm, tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sotano Rust without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
