Aralia Ivory

Hilda FabricL9155-02

Aralia Ivory is a very light, almost chalky ivory with a soft matte look and barely-there texture. The plain surface gives it a calm, understated presence that feels clean rather than stark.

About this fabric

Woven in 52% linen, 38% viscose and 10% polyamide, Aralia Ivory has the dry-natural character of linen balanced by a smoother, more refined hand. The swatch reads as a warm ivory cream rather than a bright white, with a gentle diffused finish that softens the light across the surface. With an approximate width of 140cm and no visible repeat, it presents as a straightforward plain cloth that is easy to place in scheme work. The clean tone and restrained texture make it feel fresh but not cold, and the √BM fire code and Q 8 + T 3 care notation support its practical use.

How to use it

Use this ivory shade to lighten upholstered seating without making it feel severe, especially alongside oak, pale stone or warm greys. It also suits relaxed curtains where the cloth’s soft cream tone can keep a room bright and quiet.

A quiet ivory that works as a calm base for both tailored upholstery and airy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
