Harvard II FabricL9310-03

Harvard Clay reads as a calm, warm cream with a faint clay undertone and a soft woolly surface. The swatch has a very subtle diagonal twill that keeps the plain look from feeling flat.

About this fabric

From Larsen’s Harvard II collection, this fabric is woven in 100% wool and has no visible pattern repeat, making the surface feel clean and quietly refined. The 140cm approx width suits upholstery well, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BH fire code add practical specification detail for contract or domestic projects. In this colourway, the tone sits between ivory and putty, with a gentle warmth that softens the edge of the cream. Light catches the weave delicately, giving the cloth a matte, tailored finish rather than a bright or chalky one.

How to use it

Use Harvard Clay on an armchair, banquette or headboard where its warm neutrality can settle into the room without looking stark. It pairs especially well with oak, bronze and muted stone shades, or layered with deeper earth tones for contrast.

A soft warm neutral that brings quiet polish to tailored seating and simple drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
