Malabo Grey

Kara FabricL9272-03

Malabo Grey shows the Kara design as a layered field of overlapping rings in soft grey taupe, beige and charcoal. The effect is calm but graphic, with the lighter ground keeping the pattern airy.

About this fabric

This Larsen Kara fabric is supplied with a width of approx. 124cm and a repeat of V 77cm / H 62cm, which suits the generous scale of the circular motif. The composition blends 44% Polyester, 38% Linen, 14% Jute, 3% Cotton and 1% Polyamide, giving the surface a textured, woven look rather than a flat print. In Malabo Grey, the rings read in muted stone, dove grey, sand and blackened accents, with a few warm bronze notes that stop the palette feeling cold. The overall impression is a smart, architectural pattern that still feels easy to live with.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement chair, ottoman or banquette where the large ring pattern can be seen clearly. It works especially well alongside oak, walnut, chalky paint colours and pale stone finishes.

Pair it with warm neutrals and dark timber to let the ring motif stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
