About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is supplied as a contract-grade upholstery fabric. The colour sits between warm beige and cool grey, giving the swatch a balanced greige-taupe appearance rather than a strongly brown or silver tone. Fine vertical texture and gentle changes in the pile add depth without introducing a visible pattern. It is machine washable, and its Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® rating can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this muted grey taupe with chalky whites, natural timber and soft oatmeal upholstery for a calm, layered scheme. Its restrained colour also works well on a tailored armchair or sofa where the velvet texture can provide interest without a bold motif.
