About this fabric

The swatch combines warm taupe, soft brown and a subtle mauve-grey undertone, with fine tonal variation visible across the surface. Its short velvet pile creates a dense, tactile appearance while the tiny shifts in shade prevent the colour from looking flat. Destino DES3045 is made from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide. It is rated for domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this mushroom-taupe velvet on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its quiet grey-brown depth can soften stronger wall colours. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal or muted stone shades to echo the swatch’s understated tonal variation.
