About this fabric

The image shows a plain velvet with a dense, finely textured pile rather than a printed motif, allowing the mushroom-taupe colour to provide the visual interest. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 138cm wide, it is specified for domestic upholstery. The supplied aftercare is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is listed as Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to Crib 5 contract grade. Light catches the short pile gently, creating understated shifts between brown, grey and taupe across the surface.

How to use it

Pair this deep mushroom-taupe shade with warm timber, aged brass and soft cream upholstery for a grounded, enveloping scheme. It also works well as a calming contrast to charcoal, olive or muted terracotta accents.
