About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is graded for contract upholstery. The dense-looking surface is defined by closely spaced vertical pile lines rather than a printed motif, giving the crimson shade a softly dimensional finish. DOL3486 is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is listed as Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® with treatment available to contract grade. The dark red tone brings a dramatic, tailored presence to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Pair this deep crimson colourway with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutral walls to make an armchair or sofa the room’s focal point. The vertical pile will add restrained sheen and depth to curved or tailored upholstery.
