Jay VI
Gawthorpe FabricJAYCOLVI
Jay VI makes a richly decorative impression with its deep crimson-red ground and sweeping pale foliage. Cream, olive and softly blush-toned flowers create a layered, traditional composition across the surface.

About this fabric
The pattern is dominated by large curling leaves, stylised flower heads and small birds, all arranged against the saturated red background. Pale olive and sage foliage brings a cool counterpoint to the warmer cream, beige and blush floral details. The dense, highly ornamented design gives this colourway a formal, statement-making character suited to upholstered pieces. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Jay VI on a feature armchair, headboard or occasional seat where its crimson ground can act as the room’s visual anchor. Balance the ornate pattern with warm timber, aged brass and restrained olive or cream upholstery accents.
Use the deep crimson ground to anchor a traditional room, pairing it with warm wood and soft olive accents.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jay VI without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
