ELB3536 is a deeply coloured Elba chenille with a rich burgundy ground threaded through with charcoal and near-black texture. Its close, irregular surface gives the shade a softly mottled appearance rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The dense chenille weave combines dark wine-red and burgundy tones with charcoal flecks, creating a low-contrast, horizontally textured surface that changes subtly as the light catches the pile. Made from 94% polyester and 6% acrylic, the fabric is 138cm wide and specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. ELB3536 is machine washable, making the colourway practical for upholstered seating where straightforward aftercare matters. It has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this dark burgundy and charcoal colourway with smoked timber, blackened metal and warm neutral walls for a grounded, tailored scheme. It works particularly well on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where the nubby weave can add depth without introducing a bold motif.

Use this deep burgundy chenille to bring dark, tailored warmth to sofas, dining chairs and occasional seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
