About this fabric

This colourway has a dense-looking velvet surface in a deep, cool-leaning burgundy red, with understated tonal variation rather than a printed motif. The changing direction of the nap creates soft darker and lighter marks across the cloth, giving the plain surface visual depth. Dolce is made from 100% polyester and is 138cm wide. It is specified as Contract upholstery grade, with machine-washable aftercare; the Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® specification can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this deep wine-red velvet with warm timber, aged brass and softened neutrals for a richly layered room. It works particularly well on a statement armchair or compact sofa where the nap can catch changing light.
