About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a dense-looking surface with irregular, shadowy tonal movement rather than a printed motif. The colour moves between deep navy, blue-black and softer cobalt hints as the nap changes direction. Its Contract upholstery grade makes it suitable for hard-wearing upholstered applications, while the stated aftercare is machine washable. Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® treatment can be applied to bring the fabric to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this ink navy colourway with warm timber, aged brass and smoky neutrals to balance its cool depth. It works especially well on statement armchairs, dining seats or a tailored sofa where the velvet nap can create subtle tonal variation.
