About this fabric
The swatch shows a quiet taupe-grey velvet with a subtle brown warmth, while the fine vertical pile creates delicate tonal shifts as the light moves across it. Its plain surface is gently textured rather than completely flat, giving this neutral colourway depth without a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, DOL3499 is graded for Contract upholstery. It is machine washable, and the stated Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy can be treated to contract grade.
How to use it
Use this warm taupe-grey on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its understated colour can balance cream, timber and deeper brown accents. The velvet pile will add a restrained touch of richness without making the room feel overly formal.
