ELB3544 presents a softly mottled taupe-grey chenille with a compact, finely textured surface. Subtle pale stone flecks move through the darker ground, giving the colourway quiet depth rather than a flat grey appearance.

About this fabric

The close chenille weave is visibly nubby and finely scaled, with tiny light and dark variations arranged in gentle horizontal rows. Its balanced taupe-grey tone sits between warm grey and stone, while the pale flecks catch the light across the surface. Made from 94% polyester and 6% acrylic, this 138cm-wide fabric is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this muted taupe-grey on a sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its small-scale texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with warm stone, charcoal, weathered timber and brushed metal for a calm, tailored scheme.

A softly mottled taupe-grey chenille for understated upholstered seating and tailored furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
